Self service portal for Azure MFA reset

Description

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is enforced on Trustnest.

Microsoft Authenticator mobile is the only second factor supported.

You've just bought a new phone ? You've forgotten your phone at home ? Read this documentation to learn what to do !

Know limitations

You should have your "old" mobile phone

For security reasons. Any reset MFA requires to be mult-factor authenticated. If you lost your phone or you haven't access to your phone which azure microsoft authenticator is installed on, then the reset MFA in self service is not available.

If you have no access to the existing microsoft authenticator enrolled in Azure Active Directory, you should not be able to access to postIT.

** What to do ?**

The support need to confirm your identity and the validity of your demand. Because, you should have limited access to your professional email address, support team will contact you by phone. Please, make sure your phone information are properly filled into workday; and be ready to answer your phone (even if the phone call comes from North America - we have support teams located here)

Self service portal works only for thalesdigital.io accounts

If you try to enroll a new microsoft authenticator application with your thalesgroup account (as guest on thalesdigital.io); then follow the request MFA reset for another user using postit.

Enroll a new mobile with microsoft application authenticator using self service portal

First access to Self service portal for Azure MFA reset. You should see:

use the "old" microsoft authenticator for now to login to the portal

MAKE SURE you are following this process for a thalesdigital.io account. (please...)

Click on "Add method" or "Ajouter une méthode de connexion", then select "Authentication application":

Go to your "new" mobile phone, and make sure Microsoft authenticator is installed. Then click on "next'

Open Microsoft Authenticator, click on "+" on the top/right corner;

Then select "Professional or school"

Then enter your thales email you want to enroll.

Then follow the guided steps, at the end you'll take a picture with your mobile phone of the QR code display on the screen, like show here:

That's it, you will be able to login yourself with your new mobile phone !

If you lost your "old" mobile phone or you have no access to it anymore
